Sunday Night Reflections

Gratitude helps us to return to our natural state of joyfulness.
It's where we notice what's right instead of what's wrong.
It makes us feel complete,
that we have everything we need,
at least in this moment.

    1. Sometimes something funny registers with us more than something serious. When I came across the video, I thought about how I really do take such incredible things for granted.

  2. Yes, gratitude. It can even help people with depression - the idea is to keep a journal where you write every evening three good things that happened that day. Accomplishments, good weather, anything. Write what happened and why it's a good thing, or why it's important, etc. I read about it in a book called Flourish by Martin Seligman. (Excellent book; I highly recommend it.) Now I write my own gratitude journal.

    1. I'm not faithful about writing in a gratitude journal, but I have and I find it is a wonderful thing to do just before going to sleep at night. Thanks for the tip on the book. I'm going to check it out.
